El Morro RV Park & Cabins, and Ancient Way Café, located a mile from El Morro National Monument, is about a 20-minute drive from the sanctuary. There are accommodations in Gallup and Grants, each about an hour from the sanctuary.
The nearest restaurant is the Ancient Way Café, mentioned above, which serves excellent food, including fresh-baked goods. The nearest store is in Pine Hill, about 15 minutes from the sanctuary. It’s a convenience store that has gas and diesel, an ATM, fresh-made snack foods, pizza to order, groceries, and other things you’d expect from a convenience store.

Standard campsite: $15 per night for 1-5 people.
Group campsites: $35 per night for 11+ people.
No reservations required! Check into our Gift Shop during open hours or call ahead for late check-ins. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit, and our campsite is situated near outhouses and a fully-equipped shower house.
Campers may gather their own downed tree branches found on the ground or bring their own fire-making supplies. Please do not cut branches off of live trees for wood, and please be respectful of fire bans when applicable.
We do ask that you follow a “pack-it-in, pack-it-out” policy with your trash.
